The South AfricanCivil Cooperation Bureau (CCB) (Afrikaans: Buro vir Burgerlike Samewerking (BSB)) was a government-sponsored death squad,[1][2] during the apartheid era.
The CCB, operated under the authority of Defence Minister General Magnus Malan. The Truth and Reconciliation Committee pronounced the CCB guilty of numerous killings, and suspected more killings.[3][4][5][6]
